Just because the air is getting cooler doesn’t mean you should turn a blind eye to shorts. There are plenty of winter-worthy plaid and wool options on the market, in a variety of lengths⎯from short to knee-length. Just as important as the pair you flaunt, however, is the legwear you choose to accessorize with. In fall, sheer black stockings or short socks are a good way to add pizzazz, but once the cold weather really sets in, leggings, cable knit over-the-knee socks, and opaque tights in dark colours are a must.
