Turban Time May 9
Colour & Trends, Hats
Could this be the summer of the turban? Over the past few years, turbans have popped up in high profile places like Prada’s 2007 runway and on Sarah Jessica Parker in 2010’s Sex and the City 2. Cold weather is officially here, which means it’s time to bring sweaters and gloves out of storage. But if you are feeling less than enthused about your old knits, there are plenty of fun options to help jazz up winter ensembles. There are tons of stylish hats available–especially eye-catching are ones that are slouchy, adorned with cute pompoms, or turban-style. For iPhone addicts who need to keep their digits free, fingerless gloves are the answer. Girls with a funky fashion sense will love scarves that feature plenty of tassels and fringe, but if scarves aren’t your thing, look for knit cowls–a chic alternative. You can even find shaggy knit handbags and shoes with knit details–for a look that is 100 percent winter. READ MORE +
