Although royal princesses have to wear pantyhose, this edict does not apply to the young and style savvy in London. Colourful opaque hose continued to be a core leg look. However, this season the patterned leg made impact with bold polka dots, engineered horizontal stripes and placed tuxedo-style vertical patterns. Paris picked up on the polka dot leg as well but also added smaller scale patterns worn with legwarmers.
